Sandy Brown, Director of Sales, CMP
A little southern charm really does go a long way. Early in her career, Sandy exhibited the enthusiasm and motivation that would carry her far beyond her humble beginnings as a Special Event Coordinator in Dallas. Organizing shows for high-tech companies including IBM, Texas Instruments and Xerox, Sandy honed her skills and excelled in all areas of event management.
Sandy later went on to trade Cowboys for Cajuns, relocating to New Orleans where she lived in the heart of the French Quarter while working for Hilton Hotels. Sandy took a chance on a new life in Phoenix–and it paid off. She quickly ascended to the Director of Sales position and has helped to nearly double sales during her tenure here. Throughout her time in the Valley of the Sun, Sandy has still found time to lend operational support to some of the largest conventions in North America, in Las Vegas, Los Angeles and her old stomping grounds in New Orleans. Her ability to exceed the expectations of nearly every client to ever visit Phoenix Convention Center has Sandy poised to lead the Event Sales team to a new level of customer service that redefines the guest experience.
